You don't always need a full rebuild. If your current site is doing okay but not great, there are a handful of small changes that consistently lift enquiries by 20-50% without touching the design.
1. Put one clear call to action above the fold
Most homepages give visitors five things to do: read about us, browse services, see our portfolio, follow us on Instagram, sign up to a newsletter. Pick one. The one that actually makes you money. Put it front and centre. Make every other link secondary.
2. Shorten your contact form
Every field you add cuts your conversion rate. Name, email, message. That's usually enough. Phone number if you really need it. Drop the dropdowns, the budget tier, the "how did you hear about us". Ask those questions when you reply, not before.
3. Add a sticky contact bar on mobile
On phones, a small bar pinned to the bottom of the screen with a Call and Message button can double mobile enquiries. It's a 10-line change. Most sites still don't have it.
4. Speed it up
If your site takes longer than 3 seconds to load, you're losing roughly half your visitors before they ever see your homepage. Compress images, drop heavy plugins, and switch to fast hosting. PageSpeed Insights will tell you exactly what's slow.
5. Show proof immediately
Testimonials, logos of clients, a Google review rating: get something credible on screen within the first scroll. People decide whether to trust you in seconds, and trust is what turns visitors into enquiries.
Where to start
Pick one of the five. The CTA fix takes 15 minutes and is usually the biggest single lever. If you'd like a free audit of where your site is leaking enquiries, we do those, no obligation.
